  • Nepal Trek for Macmillan

In October 2018, Wendy Mentiply, a mother of a Year 12 student at Kendrick School, completed a tough trek in the Himalayas.

Camping, no showers, no toilet, tons of leaches, torrential rain, scorching heat and freezing at night. 'It was so challenging but so rewarding'.

Mrs Mentiply has already raised £3,390 for Macmillan and as a group over £100,000, which is a fantastic achievement. This week Mrs Mentiiply made some cakes to sell to the Kendrick School staff raising over £50 - we were all happy to help with this very worthy cause whilst enjoying some delicious cakes!
