Mrs Elisabeth Rock, in her role as Work Related Learning Co-ordinator, took action earlier this academic year to get the Year 9s involved in a National Competition called ‘Step into the NHS’. This was considered a very worthwhile activity as it has encouraged our students to explore a wide range of careers in the NHS-opening up their perspective and options for meaningful careers in medical and non-medical professions. We are proud that a team of students from Kendrick won the South East regional award.
Arzina, Izzy and Alannah in Year 9 produced the winning job advert and were the Regional Prize winners for the South East from out of 100s of entries.
Well done to them for this impressive idea and for its creative outcome.
