This is a well-established and very popular trip for Year 7s. In the late summer term of Year 7 all students go on a three-day residential with their tutors, other staff and some sixth formers. The emphasis of the trip is to build on teamwork and cooperation as well as to consolidate and improve relationships in the year group. Follow up work occurs both at the end of Year 7 and in Year 8.
Every care is taken to ensure that visits are rigorously planned and monitored. Risk assessments take place before all visits and at all times we comply with Health and Safety regulations on all trips.
