House Cup 2019 - 2020

A few weeks ago, House Leaders met with House Captains to count last year’s tokens and add them to the final scores. I am delighted to announce that Sidmouth were the winners in what was an extremely close fought contest.

The final scores were as follows:

  1. Sidmouth - 3559
  2. Palmer - 3536
  3. Cedars – 3121

As you can see, it was very close with only 23 tokens separating Sidmouth and Palmer. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those involved in House events last year but namely the outgoing House captains: Anna-Mae, Candice and Katie who put a tremendous amount of effort to organise and running these events.

After a disrupted 2020, this year’s House Cup feels particularly poignant. The House system exists to bring students from across the school together and give them the opportunity to make friends. This was brought to a swift halt in March. I am hoping that this coming year we can restart House events in a considered and safe way and bring students together again when the time is right.

Best Wishes,

Mr Jacob Duncan

Sidmouth House Leader
