UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge Results

Year 7 and Year 8 students at Kendrick achieved 60 Gold, 73 Silver and 36 Bronze certificates in this year’s UKMT Junior Maths Challenge held on 26th April.

Over 300,000 students from across the UK sat the Junior Maths Challenge with roughly the top 5% receiving a Gold certificate, the next 10% Silver and the next 25% Bronze.

Ishika Jain in Year 8 achieved the Best in School certificate and Xuan Xuan was awarded the Best in Year 7 certificate. About 7000 students are invited to sit one of the follow on competitions. Anlan Huang and Ishika Jain both in Year 8 will take part in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad in June and 37 girls from Year 7 and Year 8 will sit the Junior Kangaroo competition on the same day.
