Monday 11th March 2019 saw the culmination of months of hard work from over 60 students at Kendrick School, 14 other secondary schools and 31 primary schools in Berkshire, alongside students from Berkshire Young Voices (BYV), Berkshire Youth Choir (BYC) and Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO), as they performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

On Friday 8th March, Louise Wu, Serena Farrelly, Mia Tucker and Candice Smith (from the newly elected Head Girl Team) accompanied Ms Kattirtzi to the Ernst and Young Offices in London to attend a Women's Conference; held by the Association of State Girls' Schools.
In 2011, a Thames Valley Air Ambulance saved the life of Toby Darrington, a Reading School student who had an accident whilst cycling on Oxford Road.
The following year, his sister Alicia started the Kendrick and Reading Schools' Air Ambulance Charity Concert and it has been thriving ever since.
In celebration of World Book Day’s 22nd year, the library held a Book Swap on Thursday 7th March at break and lunchtime; along with a competition and a Readathon throughout World Book Day Week! World Book Day’s main aim is to “encourage the exploration of the pleasures of books and reading”. An ethos supported by Kendrick School.
On Friday 8th March, we spent the day at Langley Grammar School participating in the Year 10 Mathematics Feast Competition organised by the AMSP. There were 14 teams competing, including two teams from our school.
Kendrick students from Y7 to Y13 got to show off their skills in all things dramatic at the 2019 House Drama Festival and Competition.
Most people feel a bit under the weather at 9:00 am on a Monday morning but, for the many space enthusiasts of Kendrick school, it was all sunshine and solar flares as Professor Clare Watt (from the University of Reading) gave us an eye-opening talk on the fascinating topic of Space Weather.
Happy Chinese New Year! 5th February 2019 was New Year's day for many around the world who celebrate the Lunar New Year - including people from countries such as Korea or Vietnam; not just China.
