The bingo includes challenges to be completed in order to win house points for a year group e.g. “Bake or cook a typical German or French dish or “Find some good German or French memes”.

    • Year 7 Bookbuzz Scheme

      Bookbuzz is a reading programme from BookTrust that aims to help schools inspire a love of reading in 11 to 13-year-olds.

      Every year here at Kendrick, our generous Kendrick Parents Society (KPS) pays for this opportunity for our Year 7 cohort, allowing us to give these students the opportunity to choose their own book to take home and keep from a list of 17 titles. They are all carefully selected by a panel of experts to ensure quality, suitability and to encourage reading for pleasure.

    • White House Tokens

      Kendrick School Leaders have the privilege of being able to award students a white house token.  Students can receive a token which goes towards their house points if they meet with the carefully considered criteria as set out below.     • Period Positivity At Kendrick School

      In the last five years, we have seen a rise of movements surrounding periods. From the fight to end the Tampon Tax, to the Free Periods campaign, activists are encouraging us to end the stigma about menstruation and make sure that menstruators of all ages have access to free menstrual products, as well as information about their periods.

    • 144th School Birthday Celebration

      We celebrated the School Birthday on Monday 27th September.  Each form made a cake that was judged by Ms Kattirtzi and Mrs Cook.   The cakes were displayed for everyone to view during 1st break and then shared with the tutor group at lunch time.  There were Year Group winners, Key Stage winners and an overall winner.

      Cakes were decorated, depicting aspects of Kendrick School life:

      Year 7:  Cupcakes made into an arrangement on a display board

      Years 8 & 9:  The ‘Arts’ – Music, Drama, Art

      Years 10 & 11:  Representing a subject studied

      Years 12 & 13:   Any aspect reflecting Kendrick life
