Kendrick Supports Project Face Shield

Kendrick School is proud to have been able to loan our 3D printer to aid with the production of almost 7,000 face shields, that were delivered to hospitals / medical facilities across Berkshire and further afield, helping frontline staff in these extraordinary times.

With a challenging situation at the start of the COVID-19 crisis, a collaboration of local 3D-printing business Edumaker and Cisco was set up at the Cisco offices at Green Park in Reading, for the production of face shields.

With the help of over 100 Cisco volunteers, and printers from across the Reading 3D community, Project Face Shield was able to do their bit to support the NHS, and Kendrick School is pleased to have been part of this initiative.
