Chemistry Olympiad 2021

Designed to challenge and inspire, the UK Chemistry Olympiad is the leading Chemistry competition for students in secondary education.  This enriching experience is a unique opportunity for students to push themselves further, develop critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively and get a chance to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations.

Organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry, this year’s competition took place remotely on 22 January, with 7160 students from 666 schools sitting the paper.  62 Sixth form chemists took part in the Olympiad.  Our Kendrick cohort did brilliantly and many were awarded with certificates.
