Transition to Year 7
I started Year 7 in September.
I didn’t know anybody in my class. But that changed pretty quickly. We all had most classes together, and trying to get to the right place at the right time gave us a reason to move around together that first week. The polite smiles soon became genuine, and our laughter seemed to infect everyone around us.
Although secondary school is very different from primary, as you have many more responsibilities, it’s a fun new step in life. I’ve learnt many things already, and everyone is kind and friendly. I’m beginning to find my way around, and I now know roughly what lessons I have each day. I wake up every morning happy to come to school and learn.
I’m proud to say I’m here at Kendrick, learning to lead, inspire and make a difference alongside my friends.
