    Shayna is a third-year Mathematics and Vice-Chancellor's Music Scholar at the University of Bristol.  Prior to university, she studied Piano, Violin and Conducting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Junior Department with Katarzyna Borowiak, Eulalie Charland and Scott Wilson.  In 2022, she was a finalist in the Lutine Prize, Junior Guildhall's equivalent of the Senior School's Gold Medal competition.  She was awarded the Junior Guildhall Piano Prize for 2022 and the Director's Prize for 2023.  She has also enjoyed success at local and international music festivals.  She has taken part in masterclasses with many esteemed pianists, including Ronan O'Hora, Mateusz Borowiak and Istvan Lajko.  Shayna now studies piano and violin with Helen Reid and Carl Beddow.  She enjoys being involved with music at university as a solo and collaborative pianist, and a violinist in the University Symphony Orchestra and Baroque Ensemble.  She performed the Scriabin Piano Concerto with Avon Concordia in Bristol.  The concert was reviewed and well received by the local press.  

    Shayna was a student at Kendrick School from September 2016 to June 2023.
