At Kendrick in 2026, at both A level and GCSE, the proportion of the highest grades is very high, and we are incredibly pleased with the results of our students.  

For A-level students, yet again the success rate of university placements is extremely high. The most popular universities and courses that students have gone on to can be found in the Destinations section.

 Headline figures:

·         At A Level 84% of grades awarded were at grade A*, A or B 

·         At A Level 37% of grades awarded were at grade A*

·         At GCSE  88% of grades awarded were at grade 9, 8 or 7

·         At GCSE 73% of grades awarded were at grade 9 or 8

In 2024, we had a published Progress 8 value added score for GCSE of +1.07 which is significantly high and places the school amongst the top few schools nationally by this measure. There has been no Progress 8 score published for 2025 or 2026 as these cohorts missed out on Key Stage 2 assessments because of the Covid pandemic. Key Stage 2 assessments are the input data for Progress 8.

The school’s 2026 Level 3 value added score for A-level results is expected to be calculated and published in the first few months of 2027.

For the A level students, the success rate of university placements is extremely high. Out of 153 students 135 gained their firm or insurance choice university place. The most popular universities and courses that students have gone on to can be found in Destinations section.

There is now a return to fully usual conditions and grading for public examinations following the COVID pandemic. This is the first year in which value added data will be calculated nationally for both the GCSE and A level cohorts.
