Governor Vacancies

Two Parent Governor Vacancies

16th May 2022

Parent Governor Election

We have a vacancy for two Parent Governors to join the Governing Body in June 2022.

We are fortunate to have parents/carers with a wide range of skills and talents, who are able to contribute to the Governing Body. In these challenging financial times and in the current political climate, our governing body is having to make some significant strategic decisions, not just for the students that are with us at the moment, but for the cohorts of students that will come to Kendrick in the future. Recently appointed parent governors have said that they enjoy their role as a governor; it gives them an insight into the workings of the school and how the school is accountable to the governing body. In addition, it enables them to be involved in setting the strategic vision of the school by working closely with Ms Kattirtzi and the Senior Leadership Team. They are proud to be part of a school that is relentless in its pursuit of excellence.  This is an exciting time to be joining the Governing Body with the school’s continuing expansion and the Widening Horizons project, which is extending our association with local primary schools, and working, in particular, with disadvantaged children.

If you have an interest in education and have skills that you feel could contribute to the work we do, please put your name forward to be considered for the role of Parent Governor at Kendrick.  If you have any queries please contact Amanda Emberson-Powney, Clerk to the Governing Body, on

Yours sincerely

Mrs Jan Nowecki
Chair of Governors
