Open Events

Kendrick School is a successful ‘outstanding’ school and if your daughter is showing academic potential at her primary school and has an enquiring mind and a love of learning, please come along to our Open Evening to find out more about us. There will be tours of the school with an opportunity to meet students and staff, and talks by the Headteacher, Ms Kattirtzi, at 5.15pm, 6.30pm and 7.30pm. You will also be able to find out more and ask questions about the entrance test procedure at admissions talks taking place during the evening.

No booking required. Car parking is not available on the school site. We recommend allowing 1½-2 hours for your visit.  The last tours and talks will take place at 7.30pm.

Kendrick School - Widening Horizons

Kendrick School is expanding and in September 2020 we are delighted to be offering 32 additional places in Year 7. As a result of the expansion, our admission policy for entry into Year 7 in September 2020 has been changed to support our aim to increase access to Kendrick School for disadvantaged students.

Kendrick School’s Widening Horizons Project has been initiated to:

  • Work with local primary schools to raise aspirations of local children
  • Raise awareness of Kendrick School
  • Provide a free test familiarisation programme for Year 5 pupil premium students who have applied to take the entrance test and provide support to their parents/carers with the entrance test application process.

If you are a parent/carer of a girl who is in Year 3-5 and in receipt of pupil premium/service premium or is a child in care, we are delighted to invite you and your daughter to an information event at Kendrick School on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 at 4pm to explain more about the Widening Horizons Project.

For more information on the event or the Widening Horizons Project, please email Permission will be sought to approach your primary school to confirm eligibility.
